Dakota Fanning somehow finds the time in between being a superstar actress starring in flicks like "New Moon" and the upcoming "Runaways" biopic to be a regular teenager and go to high school. Not only does she go to high school at Hollywood's Campbell Hall Episcopal High School, but she's also is involved in extracurricular activities.
Dakota is a cheerleader for the school's team and this past weekend she was crowned her school's Homecoming Princess (in her uniform none the less) at the football team's (she cheers for the Vikings) big game against Crespi Camelite High School on Friday night, according to Radar.
According to reports, the star and a football player (lucky #47) walked down the red carpet at half time when they were named homecoming king and queen. Dakota was given a sash, flowers and a tiara at the crowning.
Even though she may be loved at her high school, Twilighters are certainly going to hate her character, Jane, in "New Moon." She recently admitted just how evil she is in an interview. "I think it's more fun to play a bad person than a good person," she said. "She almost blows your mind how evil she is." It was a sentiment echoed by director Chris Weitz to MTV News in an interview last month.
