VMAs: 'The Hills' Ladies-- Kristin Cavallari, Lauren Conrad & Co-- Who Was Best Dressed?

The cast of "The Hills" — old and new — flew the L.A. coop for the weekend and headed to the East Coast to hit up the Video Music Awards. We're a little awestruck that Heidi Montag (a.k.a. Miss Wouldn't A Big Event Ever) didn't grace the awards with her presence, but we guess the alleged Audrina Patridge vs. Kristin Cavallari spat was enough to give us our "Hills" drama fix for the night. (Though Kristin told MTV on the red carpet that she "doesn't get along with Audrina," she refuted claims that the "Sorority Row" star didn't show up to the VMAs because of a feud between the two of them. Kristin said she had always been planning to present a Moonman alongside Nelly Furtado and not Audrina, as it had been rumored.)

Catfights aside, these West Coasters sure brought some style with them to Radio City last night — and for some reason, when we placed their full-length shots side-by-side like we did above, it really seems like they tried to coordinate as a group (minus Stephanie Pratt's non-black shoes choice). Ah, who are we kidding? There's no way these girls would ever remotely try to match.

Anyway, here's a glimpse at who wore what: (From left to right) Lauren Conrad was in a Diane von Furstenburg dress and Jimmy Choo peep toes; Kristin went vintage with her metallic mini but added coutoure with YSL heels; Lo Bosworthchose a more accesible wardrobe piece with her "Damask" dress from French Connection (you can still purchase her version in white for $268) and finally, Stephanie, well we can't seem to figure out who designed her dress (if you know, tell us in the comments section below!), but we were able to find out she was going for a Bridget Bardot hair along with a Kate Moss-inspired look.

So who do you think should take the trophy home for hottest "Hills" style at the 2009 VMAs? Take our poll below and feel free to elaborate further down in the comments area.
