Jamie Chung really likes her girl time. When we caught up with the "Sorority Row" star and her Theta Pi sisters Audrina Patridge and Margo Harshman, the 26-year-old dished about her next project, another mostly female ensemble film called "Sucker Punch."
Described by writer-director Zack Snyder (the guy behind "Watchmen" and "300") as " 'Alice in Wonderland' with machine guns," the fantasy thriller stars Emily Browning as a young girl institutionalized by her father and scheduled for a lobotomy in five days. To escape her painful reality, Emily retreats to an alternate world of a brothel with fellow inmates Vanessa Hudgens, Jena Malone, Abbie Cornish and Jamie. While in pre-production in Vancouver, the girls went through extensive fight training and Jamie, with visible bruises on her knees, talked about her tell-tale injuries.
"I have lots of bruises that don't really go on the red carpet," she mused. "But we'll do something about that."
In between heavy training, Jamie was able to sneak in some girl time with cast members from another little production shooting up in Canada. I think it's called "Eclipse."
