Quick refresher course on the background of the high-end designer’s line: In May, Anna Sui announced she would be collaborating with Target to create a fall collection that would be loosely based on the four main femme characters in the CW’s stylish series “Gossip Girl.” “My collection for Target combines elements of art and the spirit of New York City with my signature prints, silhouettes and use of color,” Anna said in a press release. Fans take note — the official Anna Sui for Target commercial will make its debut during the season premiere of “GG” on Sept. 14!
After the jump, get a sneak peek at the “GG”-approved clothes.
If you’ve always imagined yourself a Blair, then Anna’s line has you wearing lots of big bows and doll-silhouette dresses. Surprisingly, there are no headbands or plans to destroy enemies included in the Blair-inspired part of the line. Pictured above is the “Long-sleeve Tablecloth Dress,” $70.
Jenny has always been edgy, so if you’re like her, then hitting up Ann’s line means you’ll come home with fishnets and torn up leggings, as well as plaid with lots of zippers and girly dresses paired with hip ankle boots. Plans at rock ’n’ roll domination come separately. Pictured above is the “Silk Labyrinth-Border-Print Tunic,” $50.
Vanessa’s hip outer borough style has been encapsulated in Anna’s line with a mixture of chic bohemian-print dresses and athletic-inspired jackets and vests. So, in case you need to hang out with the rich kids and you’re not quite as wealthy, then you’ll still look incredibly luxe. Pictured above is the “Metallic Jacquard Sleeveless Ruffle Top,” $40 and the “Jacquard Skirt,” $30.
Finally, we have Serena . She may not always make the best choices in guys, but her impeccable style is summed up quite nicely in Anna’s line. The wardrobe, which pairs grey and black as its foundation colors, is a combination of edgy party dresses and comfy casual separates. Pictured above is the “Leather Jacket,” $150 and the “Satin Striped Shift Dress With Belt,” $60.
