Remember back in July, when we gave you the lowdown in all the Twilight-themed merchandise we checked out at Comic-Con? In addition to clothing lines, action figures and party favors, we shared with you what little information we knew about Twilight Beauty’s new Luna Twilight make-up collection. As promised, we are back now with the inside scoop on this new make-up line!
Shown in the photos after the jump are Luna Twilight’s four Color Palettes, or basically your go-to source of daily make-up. Each palette contains lip gloss, eye shadow and blush themed around four of the main characters in “The Twilight Saga.” We’re not too sure why Victoria has been included in the Luna Twilight line (supposed to be the line for the good guys) versus the Volturi, but maybe it’s because this is softer-themed make-up than what Volturi Twilight is said to be.
The Color Palettes, which will sell for $28 a pop, are split into Bella, Alice, Rosalie and Victoria color themes (they are pictured above in that order). The Bella Color Palette is “soft and subtle with nude shadows, warm nude blush, nude lipstick and the sheerest cherry red gloss.” Alice is themed “eclectic and spunky with shimmering blue and silver shadows, rosy blush and sheer hot pink lips.” Rosalie is “regal and refined with peach toned shadows, a coral blush and apricot lipsticks and gloss,” while the edgier Victoria is “bold and fiery with shimmering jewel-toned shadows and deep wine colored lipstick and gloss.”
The Color Palettes are joining the already released First Light Body & Face Glow and Gleam Metallic Mascara in the Luna Twilight line. Volturi Twilight features Foreshadow Primer, an eye shadow application with loose glitter that has been named Labrynth Shadows. Both will be released at retailers Dillard’s and Nordstrom starting September 15, as well as TwilightBeauty.com.
What do you think of this new Twilight-themed make-up? Is this something you would want to wear? Which style would you choose for yourself: Bella, Alice, Rosalie or Victoria?
