Jennifer Lopez: First Images Of Her Foray Back Into Movies With 'The Back-Up Plan' Debut

Married life has done well for Jennifer Lopez. Since she married Latin music sensation Marc Anthony in 2004, J.Lo has stayed out of the public eye both on the radio and on the big screen.

Four years after "Monster-In-Law," it looks like 2009 is going to be her comeback year. With the release of her new single "Hooked On You" and some brand new stills revealed from her upcoming film "The Back-Up Plan," it seems to us at Hollywood Crush that Jenny has gone around the block and come back again.

Check out the stills from the new film of J.Lo along with costar Alex O'Loughlin after the jump.

"The Back-Up Plan," slated to hit theaters January 22, 2010, is a different sort of romantic comedy than any we have seen before. As someone who was personally a big fan of "The Wedding Planner" (it was my first experience of Matthew McConaughey ... cut me some slack) and appreciated "Maid In Manhattan" if only for casting Ralph Fiennes as a romantic lead, I think it will be interesting to see how a story based around artificial insemination will pan out.

Jennifer plays Zoe, a woman who after years of failed attempts at dating decides to go it alone and mother a child by herself. She meets nice guy Stan (Alex O'Loughlin) the day she gets impregnated and their love story unfolds in reverse as he agrees to help her raise her unborn child. The whole idea behind the film is that it is the first time a movie's plot has centered around becoming pregnant, getting married and then falling in love versus the typical vice versa. I'll probably end up going to see it, but didn't the people writing this pitch ever see "Juno"? Just sayin'.
