'Fame' Star Cody Longo Brings It On As This Week's Hump Day Hottie

Cody Longo's star is definitely on the rise. With a slew of big name and interesting projects on the horizon, pictures of the actor should soon be gracing the lockers of girls all across this great land once school starts in a couple weeks. It doesn't hurt that he's in a handfull of high school themed movies ... or that he's incredibly easy on the eyes. Don't believe us? Press play on the video below to see more of this week's Hump Day Hottie!

Vital Stats: The 21-year-old grew up in Colorado, where he was an athlete, and when he spoke to Hollywood Crush, he exhibited a bit of the small town charm that girls just die over. Plus, he has a great sense of humor. We're sure his girlfriend, "Make It Or Break It" actress Cassie Scerbo, agrees.

And although he was super excited to be this week's HDH, his "Bring It On: Fight to the Finish" costar, Christina Milian, was even more ecstatic. "Congratulations, Cody!" she exclaimed to the actor via MTV News. "You deserve the HDH award! He's a cutie. You know what honestly he and I had great chemistry in the movie. And just as a person he's a sweet heart. He's got some edge to him which is what I like about him."

Where you might have already seen him: You may recognize the actor from various TV roles in shows like "Medium" or "Make it or Break It." And, he's also been in "Ball Don't Lie" and "Hip Hop Kidz: It's a Beautiful Thing."

Why you should take notice of him now: Starting September 1, you can load up your DVD players with the fifth cheerleading flick in the "Bring It On" franchise, "Fight to the Finish." "I play a character named Evan, he's one of the rich kids in Malibu," Cody said. "But really Evan doesn't get all caught up in that. He's a really down to Earth guy, really likeable. He kind of jokes on himself quite a bit. He's really fun to play."

He's also super excited for his other upcoming projects which include, the highly-anticipated "Fame" reimagining, as well as the horror flick, "Piranha 3-D," which stars a slew of people including "Gossip Girl" actress Jessica Szohr. And Cody will get the chance to show his funny side off opposite acting vets like Adrien Brody and Michael Chiklis in next year's "High School."

"It's definitely a blessing to have a big year coming up and I'm really, really excited," he gushed. "And I'm just anticipating the films coming out and hoping that they're going to be well received."
