It's no secret "Late Night" host Jimmy Fallon has been coordinating a Bayside Tigers reunion for some time now — he even got Mark-Paul Gosselaar to appear on his show in character as Zack Morris — but it looks like People beat Jimmy to the punch.
The stars of everyone's favorite Saturday morning sitcom (including, from left) Lark Voorhies, Elizabeth Berkley, Mario Lopez, Tiffani Thiessen, and Mark-Paul cover the upcoming issue of the mag (see a bigger image after the jump!), in which they dish about their hairdos, hookups and yearbook-worthy memories.
Now the stylish host of "Extra," Mario is quick to defend his questionable "SBTB" look — including his signature mullet. "I liked my hair long because I wanted to look like Mel Gibson in "Lethal Weapon," Mario said. "I didn't even know I had a mullet! Looking back, I guess it does qualify."
Thankfully for Mario, that dreadful 'do never kept the ladies away. In fact, the cast members were — how shall we put this? — quite friendly with one another. "All of us dated at one point or another — it was incestuous!" Mark-Paul said.
Hairdos (or hair-don'ts) and dating aside, Elizabeth's favorite memory is the now-infamous "I'm so excited!" episode in which Jessie uses caffeine pills to stay awake while the girls record a music video. (That's one of our faves, too!)
Noticeably absent from the class reunion was Dustin Diamond, who portrayed geeky sidekick Screech. Dustin, who you may recall appeared on VH1's "Celebrity Fit Club" and a homemade porn video, is now penning a "no holds barred" tell all called "Behind the Bell." What would Mr. Belding say? (Most likely: "Hey ... hey ... hey... what is going on here?!")
What do you think about the 'SBTB' reunion? Who was your favorite Bayside Tiger?
