I'm among the more than 6,000 people walking into Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con, many of them screaming as soon as they get in the door in anticipation of today's "New Moon" panel with Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and other cast and crew.
It's like we won the lottery and this is our prize.
Everyone's jockeying for the best seats possible to catch a glimpse of all the vampires and werewolves as the panel begins at 1:45 p.m. In the meantime, there are other panels to enjoy, including the Disney 3-D panel that was supposed to start at 11:00 a.m., although it's being delayed by all the efforts to keep things secure and avoid any problems with the throngs of fans filing into the hall.
Some people with cell phones are sharing information from this morning's "New Moon" press conference, and there's a buzz in the room as fans are talking about who's coming and when they're going to arrive. "Twilight" apparel fills the room, and many people are carrying signs professing their allegiance to Team Edward or Team Jacob.
It's amazing that even though so many of us slept all night on the ground, we're practically giddy with enthusiasm. It was all obviously worth it, as we're among the select few who are now inside Comic-Con's most anticipated panel!
Keep checking back with Hollywood Crush throughout the day for more on "New Moon" and Comic-Con! And in case you missed it, we previously gave you an insiders look at this years "Twilight" booth, a live report from the line of fans camping out for the "New Moon" panel and most recently, a look at a piece of "Twilight" merchandise many Comic-Con goers are sporting: a "New Moon" Burger King crown.
