Canada Day Turns Our Attention To A Few Choice Canadian Cuties!

Oh, Canada! It's Canada Day, and in honor of the country that brought us "Degrassi," the Barenaked Ladies and a couple of our favorite MTV News staffers (you know who you are!), we are honoring some of the its greatest studs.

Yes, even in a week when we will be celebrating American — thanks to the 4th of July — we can't help but feel some pride for our Northern neighbors. Right, eh? So check out our full list of some of Canada's finest celebrity men, er, we mean talent!

Taylor Kitsch

At 28, the British Columbia native stole our hearts in "Friday Night Lights" as Tim Riggins, the sexy Panther football star. But, it was his role as Gambit in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" that showed everyone that Taylor is one hot force to be reckoned with.

Ryan Reynolds

Speaking of "Wolverine," this Vancouver native has abs to die for (and ones we want to touch!) and a wife that most guys would kill to be in the same room with. Let's also not forget that the 32-year-old is a box office hit thanks to "Wolverine" and his recent rom-com, The Proposal.

Ryan Gosling

Slightly brooding, Oscar nominated and a rock star? He had us at hello! The 28-year-old Ontario native really became the king of swooning girls in "The Notebook," alongside ex-love Rachel McAdams, but thanks to some smart post-"Notebook" movie choices, he has proven to be more than just eye candy.

Joshua Jackson

We didn't know that foxes were native to Vancouver, but this former WB star (we would have picked Pacey over Dawson, too) has found magic on TV again thanks to his sci-fi show, "Fringe." We don't even like science that much (we failed it in college!), but somehow he makes it seem sexy.

Hayden Christensen

Fanboys and their girlfriends alike can share their love for the 28-year-old Vancouver native thanks to his turn as Anakin Skywalker in "Star Wars." He's engaged to "O.C." alum Rachel Bilson and even stars with her in the upcoming flick "New York, I Love You." Hey Hayden, we love you, too!
