An Open Letter To The Many Fans Of Robert Pattinson

Dear Fellow Robert Pattinson Fans,

I am one of the first people to tell you that I got giddy when I discovered RPattz would be in NYC this summer to film the romantic flick, “Remember Me.” In fact, I even thought that maybe, just maybe I’d run into the winner of Vanity Fair’s Most Handsome Man in the World poll in a Starbucks or on the subway (yeah … right) and my wish would finally come true.

Apparently, though, I’m not the only who was super-excited with the news of Rob’s arrival. There have been pictures (see one after the jump) and videos all around the internet of Rob getting mauled by fans on-set. Although I understand the passion we all have for this talented and talented heartthrob, maybe we should give him a break and some breathing room.

I’m not gonna lie: I’ve wanted to sneak a peek of him on-set (you know, much like the people to the right are) ever since I found out he landed in the Big Apple, but I think it may be a better idea for me to catch a glimpse from a distance. Would you want a mob of people running after you and touching you? I mean, what if someone lunges at him and he gets a scratch or a cut on his face?

We all love Rob, but let’s not stalk or maul him like a, say, lion would.
