If 2014 has taught us anything it's that where there's an awards show, there's Pharrell in an outfit destined to inspire a parody Twitter account. Say hello to @PharrellsUggs, the latest addition to growing group that includes @Pharrellshat and @PharrellsShorts. After winning Video of the Year for "Happy," Pharrell took to the stage in a pair of Fair Isle Uggs. This surprised a lot of people on Twitter but what else would you expect from the person who made shorts acceptable on the Oscars red carpet? Pharrell's just doing Pharrell and staying true to his Etsy-chic, cozy style.

IMHO, the bigger surprise of the night was all of Pharrell's outfit changes. For someone with such low-key style, you wouldn't expect three different ensembles in one night, but Pharrell is pretty much king of the unexpected in the style department. He started out the night in a Levi's jacket decorated with friendship bracelets on one of the pockets, a black pair of Adidas Stan Smith sneakers (hand-painted with the kind of doodles he's made his signature), a "Think Other" tee from his Uniqlo collab, dark jeans with a kerchief peeking out of the back pocket, and, yes, a hat. But the real gem (heh) of his red carpet outfit was the custom Chanel rosaries he had redone in real jade and gold because of jade's "healing properties" and gold is "a great conductor of energy." I'm not even going to question that because whatever Pharrell's doing, it's clearly working for him. Dude does not age.

Pharrell also wore Chanel for his performance of "Come Get It Bae"—kind of! Backed by dancers in "Bae" sweaters and cheerleader skirts, he wore yet another pair of Stan Smiths—this time in yellow—hand-painted with "Chanel" and other doodles. *counts down to when Karl weighs in on that* Pharrell matched his yellow sneakers to a pair of Adidas jeans (possibly from his upcoming collection), his "Think Other" tee, and what might be the world's hardest-to-unbutton cardigan, at least judging by Pharrell's effort. Poor Pharrell took a record amount of time to take it off during his set. But LBR, unbuttoning cardigans is pretty much the only thing Pharrell can't do well.
