Shane On ‘Faking It’ Can Pull Off Any And All Patterns

While we’ve directed much of our fashion focus to Faking It’s two lead female characters, today we’re switching gears. You can’t have a character like Shane in front of your eyeballs every week and not talk about him. Dude can wear prints like no one’s business and his wardrobe in last night’s episode is total proof of that.

First up is his graphic button-up—it’s got diamonds, unfinished triangles, arrows, and stripes. That’s a whole lotta pattern for one short-sleeved shirt, but Shane obviously pulls it off like NBD. I never knew a shirt could be so multi-patterned, but now I do and I like it. A lot.

Second is this. I mean, another patterned button-up PLUS a purple snakeskin sweatshirt? Prints on prints for, like, a casual Tuesday at school! If I ever wore more than one print at a time to school, it definitely wasn’t intentional.

Third and final is perhaps his simplest mixing and matching. It’s not often that two different sets of stripes comprise a ~simple~ outfit, but for Shane, somehow, they do. His shirt (another button-up!) features skinny monochrome stripes, while the bottom of his sweater features the same color palette, but thicker stripes.

You can peep all of Shane’s prints and more in last night’s episode of Faking It, which is below for your enjoyment!
