Slime green for spring, duh.

Let it be known that the first week of April 2014 was the week everyone dyed their hair, or at least pretended to (we're looking at you, Lauren Conrad). Katy Perry debuted her "slime green for spring" 'do on Instagram, after mentioning last week that she was excited about the color. While the color, at least on Instagram, doesn't appear to be as bright as the green slime that gets dumped on celebrities' heads at Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards, that's probably a hard color to achieve on hair. Also, who knows, maybe she used Walden as a filter (it's not very vibrant).
Going green takes work.

Nina K, one of the stylists who dyed Katy's hair, posted a picture to her Instagram, and at least on her hands, the color looks way more vivid. We now have some trust issues with colorists who deceive us on Instagram, TBH. This isn't the first time Katy's had brightly colored hair—throw back to purple, blue, and pink, and more—but it's the first time she's gone green IRL. Will she inspire a slime-green-for-spring trend? We'll see. If you're not fully committed to the color, you could just dump some slime on your head for a temporary look (JK).
