The topless trend is becoming so mainstream these days, it's a wonder designers even bother making shirts anymore. The latest "It" Girl to jump on the semi-nude bandwagon? Rita Ora on this month's cover of Elle UK. The British singer clearly doesn't need fancy clothes to look totally gorgeous, as she appears in nothing more than a pink Dior skirt and a Cartier bracelet. She is forced to share the spotlight with one other pretty gal, however—"Rosetta," her detailed ribcage tattoo.

"It’s based on an original piece by Alberto Vargas, who was an incredible illustrator in the 1930s. He was one of the creators of the pin-up image. That’s our build, our power," Rita told Elle of the tat. "I was obsessed with the painting a long time ago, and then I got it done six months ago." Turns out the painting in question is Memories of Olive (one of the most famous pieces in the Vargas oeuvre), and Rita's cover shot displays it in all of its glory. Showing your topless tattoo for your topless photo shoot? Whoa. That's, like, a double dose of #meta.

Keeping up with the whole pushing boundaries thing, Rita also performed the unusual task of shooting her OWN behind-the-scenes video using Google Glass. So, instead of just getting the typical "cover girl posing for the camera" B-roll footage, we actually get Rita's first-person experience of the shoot. Not to spoil anything, but it contains a LOT of nail filing and mirror selfies.
