Only 10 more days until Divergent hits the big screens. TEN DAYS, people. That may seem like a short amount of time, but for fans of the dystopian book series (myself included), it is still long enough to feel like torture. The film’s trailers have revealed little snippets of what’s to come—The Pit, fear landscapes, ferris wheel, Theo Jamesabs—and it already looks pretty amazing. And on the style tip, thanks to costume designer Carlo Poggioli, the faction wardrobes are RIGHT on point.

In futuristic Chicago, clothing actually matters a lot (each faction requires its members to wear a certain color), so we’re glad Poggioli knows what’s up. The members of the Dauntless faction (basically a legion of soldiers, centered around bravery), like Tris (Shailene Woodley), are dressed in hardXcore, form-fitting black ensembles with charcoal, maroon, and purple accents. Jeanine Matthews (Kate Winslet) reps for Erudite (the pragmatic, knowledge-hungry faction) in blue structured blazers. And, of course, everyone in Abnegation (the selfless faction) looks appropriately mousy gray and plain. To make things more exciting, Poggioli released his original design sketches for each faction to E!, showing us that we have a LOT more fashion to look forward to. (Spoiler alert: Peaceful faction Amity’s clothes are just as hippy-dippy as you’d expect them to be.)
