When it was announced earlier today that Lady Gaga would be making an appearance on the Oscars red carpet, we were like, "OMG, YAAS GAGA YAAAS." Then, we waited patiently (and eagerly) for Gaga to roll up. Finally, it happened. And, we must say, it was worth the wait: Gaga went glam. Big time.

Sticking with her preferred lilac and Versace palette, Mother Monster opted for a strapless gown, complete with mirrored embellishments. Note to all the Oscars attendees who are reading this post: if you forgot your mirror, cozy up to Gaga and admire your reflection. It's the perfect lipstick check opportunity, AND you get to talk to Lady Gaga. Win-win, TBH.

Because it is only 62 degrees in LA, Gaga accessorized with a chiffon scarf, which was draped over the back of her gown. She ditched the extremely long white wig she's been been favoring for a platinum updo. It's a good thing, too—the length of that wig would've been competing with the scarf and three layers would've been quite hot. Gaga knows you've gotta stay cool 'cause the Oscars are a marathon, not a sprint. Keep that in mind, y'all.
