Taylor Swift's New Keds 'Bravehearts' Campaign Is Not What You Think

IDK about you (~but I'm feeling 22~)(LOLJK), but when I heard that Taylor Swift's new Keds campaign was called "Bravehearts," I expected some kilts or at least a little swipe of blue face paint. A nod to the First War of Scottish Independence is decidedly NOT what T. Swizzle and her girl gang are all about here (but the ads are similarly uplifting?). Here's the major takeaway: There are a million ways to be brave. T. Swift and her band of merry sneaker-wearing pals reveal their acts of courage while modeling the brand's Spring 2014 collection. From learning a new language to dying your hair (and we're assuming revolution can fall under here as well), the ads encourage girls everywhere to just go for it. Jump in with both feet (get it?), if you will.

Positive messaging and unfulfilled Mel Gibson leanings aside, this Keds campaign is definitely cute, quirky, and ready for spring. The new collection boasts some solid statement pieces, featuring bold new colors and patterns. TBH, if you have a pair of black-and-white zigzagged or solid cerulean kicks, the rest of your outfit hardly even matters. Buuut just in case you want a flawless look from head to toe, the Bravehearts website is also doling out styling tips. Or you could just copy the outfits from the ads themselves because GIMME. Taylor looks adorable in every ensemble, thanks to polka dots, headbands, and one extra special instance of guitar-playing in a tree.
