We already heard that The Blonds would be designing some of the outfits for Miley Cyrus on her Bangerz Tour, but, the "Wrecking Ball" singer just revealed they're not the only ones. Yep, Miles has recruited the likes of Jeremy Scott and Marc Jacobs to outfit her on tour. Being tight with designers certainly has its perks, eh?
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Miley said that each designer would be outfitting her for different parts of the show. In addition to wearing custom pieces from The Blonds, Jeremy Scott, and Marc Jacobs, Miley will also perform in archive pieces from Bob Mackie. Considering Mackie's appreciation for sequins and crop tops (Cher's 1986 Oscars dress, anyone?), his designs will definitely fit in with the aesthetic. Miley also told THR that she picked these designers because, "Clothes for [her], or lack thereof, say a lot." I wonder who will be designing her pasties? Maybe Nicki Minaj?
The Bangerz Tour starts in less than a month (officially, as of yesterday!), so we won't have to wait long to see what these designers and Miley have in store. The Hollywood Reporter interview has some more insight into what the shows will be like, but much of it remains a ~mystery~. We want tour merch deets. Will shirts be hand-drawn like in the tour commercial or nah? We're also hoping to see some wardrobe sketches before the first show, but if we have to wait, we won't be mad. The big reveal is half of the fun.
