SEE? We TOLD you the topless trend was happening. (Polar vortex be damned, apparently.) Two major beauty campaigns just dropped, and each ad features a shirtless star. First of all, props to anyone who dares to bare that much skin post-holiday binge. (Celebrities! They’re nothing like us!) Second of all, my teeth are chattering just looking at these ladies. Granted, they no doubt had central heating wherever these shoots took place, but everyone else is talking about the weather this week, sooo when in Rome.
Rihanna debuted her new MAC Viva Glam campaign on Twitter, and we are really digging the nude …color of her nails! LOL. Gotcha. But seriously, where can we get our hands on that latte-tinted shade? Rih was made up with heavy smoky eyes and a bold red lip that surely comes courtesy of her soon-to-be released Viva Glam lipstick and lipglass. Also of note (and proving that her hair stylist has GOT to be the busiest in the business), Miss Fenty’s rocking flaxen follicles that were cut (or wigged) into a choppy bob with bangs.
Kristen Stewart also dropped her top in her third campaign for Balenciaga, this time for the brand’s new Rosabotanica perfume. TBH, though, it kind of looks like this could be an outtake from her previous ad for Balenciaga’s other scent, Florabotanica. Shot in black and white and draped in tropical flowers, both ads show K. Stew with smoky eyes, shiny lips, and a messy updo. But instead of the over-the-shoulder, back-baring glance she threw for Florabotanica, the Rosabotanica ad has the starlet facing forward and staring straight into the camera. Maybe she’s saving the drama for when she poses for Chanel?
