In between bedazzling seashell sessions, Lady Gaga has been hitting up many a TV show while in Japan. Over the weekend, she was on Music Station Japan in a vintage Gianni Versace jacket, Kansai Yamamoto pants, and Spring '14 Versace belt, and for her performance on SMAPxSMAP, Gaga continued mixing Versace with Yamamoto for, as she aptly dubbed it, "serious glam history." (Yamamoto is perhaps best known for designing David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust tour wardrobe.)

Gaga's performance kicked off with a colorful jacket from the Japanese designer. She traded in the Botticelli wig which she has been giving a lot of head time while in Tokyo for the frizzy white wig she favored at the Glamour Women Of The Year Awards and in Berlin. How many wigs do you think Lady Gaga brings when she travels? How many suitcases are filled only with wigs? 5 or more? I guess she's used to facing a lot of baggage fees. She's been in Tokyo for less than a week and worn at least 5 vastly different wigs. She even broke her "Personal record for wig changes in one day." Congrats, Gagaloo!

After an incredibly fast wardrobe change, Gaga emerged in her first custom Versace performance look: a sequined, one-shoulder, floral leotard. Underneath she wore some heavily ripped fishnets, which, IMHO, need to be thrown away. Treat yourself to some new tights, Gaga! You work hard—you deserve them! Cash in on some of these great holiday sales!

Her second costume change must've legitimately been done through magic: she goes from sequined leotard and tights to nude bodysuit, new shoes, and different wig in 10 seconds. Just taking tights off takes me upwards of 20 minutes, so I'm, like, pretty sure that though the video looks like one seamless performance, it was two spliced together. Her bodysuit is decked out with sparkly stars and pearls and she throws her hat into the seashell pasty game. Watch out, Miley, Azealia, and Kim: Gaga is coming for ya. Though it's probably not that warm, the bodysuit has something very ~wintery~ about it. Maybe for colder climates those stars will turn into snowflakes? Just a suggestion, Donatella.

Obviously, Gaga x Versace is coming our way for Spring 2014, but what if Versace is also designing all Gaga's ARTPOP tour outfits? I mean, these two already exist: why not complete the set?
