ICYMI: Jay Z doesn't pop Molly, he rocks Tom Ford. Oh. You've heard his song "Tom Ford," and you already knew that? Well, apparently, Jay doesn't think we got the message. Or maybe he just loves Tom Ford THAT much. Or, even more likely, Mr. Carter realizes that his words are good enough to wear. Last night, Jay Z kicked off his Magna Carta World Tour in St. Paul, Minnesota and took to the stage in a custom, black and white jersey tee emblazoned with lyrical references to his standout hit, "Tom Ford." Hov repped the designer's name on the back of the shirt, along with Ford's birth year (1961) and the word "Molly" crossed out.

Jay opted to accessorize the solid front of the shirt with two simple gold chains. OK, one of them is definitely a chain, but the other kind of looks like a strand of plastic Mardi Gras beads, amirite? I'm sure it cost more than my annual rent, but still. Mr. Carter also wore an all-black leather baseball cap from his collection for Barneys, which pays tribute to his home borough of Brooklyn and can be yours for a cool $875. (Bonus: BEY WORE IT, TOO. Just sayin'.)

While we're sure Tom Ford appreciates the obvious nod, we're not 100% positive if he made Jay's tour tee himself. After all, Ford's been kiiind of busy creating 600 custom pieces for Justin Timberlake's 20/20 World Experience Tour. (Although, we're sure he could make time to stitch a little something together for the man who immortalized his name in song.) Or perhaps Ford's just quietly decided to jump from one tour to another? *cue "On To The Next One"* Either way, we hope Hov's got more of these lyrical garments up his sleeve. (Heh.)

Editor's note: Jay Z's "Tom Ford" t-shirt was made by BBP.
