Being in London has certainly inspired Lady Gaga to try out some new looks, especially in the head accessory department. The Brits do love their headgear (Royal Wedding fascinators, anyone?), so she’s in good company. Last week, we saw her debut a merkin mask, which completely covered her face and head. Then, she took on a more “natural” look, sporting what looked like a corn husk headband. Then, yesterday, on her way into film The Graham Norton Show, she recycled an outfit, wearing a DOPE hat that she also showed off a few weeks prior. How she emerged from filming the show, though, is an entirely different story.

While her look going in was quite ~casual~, she came out in 5-feet-above-head-to-toe Louis Vuitton. Gaga wore the look as it was styled on the Spring/Summer 2014 runway, with a completely sheer and feathered shirt paired with sequin-embossed tuxedo pants. The focal point of the look is not the sheer shirt or sequins, but the black feather headdress designed by Stephen Jones, which is totally reminiscent of the showgirl-inspired, Bob Mackie that Cher wore to the 1986 Academy Awards. Gaga paired the look with her fave 9-inch boots, which makes sense because she wore them going in and they’d be way too heavy to carry around. BUT THAT’S NOT ALL.

Just when you thought that maybe Gaga’s head (and/or neck) was tired, or that she’d like to actually, y’know, see where she was walking for once, she leaves her hotel wearing this bad boy. It’s not a hat, nor a mask: it’s a hask (working on a copyright now, DO NOT STEAL). The upside-down batman-esque mask joins a UFO-shaped hat, which sits comfortably atop her head. She’s paired it with an otherwise conservative outfit, including a navy high-low hem coat and black, over-the-knee boots.
Do you think Gaga will bring her hat/mask/headdress game back to the USA, or is it exclusive to Europe? How many head accessories do you think she can wear in 24 hours? She’s given us 3 so far, but we’re pulling for more.
