It’s been a hot minute since we were treated to a new music video from Ke$ha. “Crazy Kids” with all its cornrows and bling was released in May, so, um, hi, that’s 5 months without any new Ke$ha for us to feast our eyes upon. Sure, we watched the “My Crazy Beautiful Life” trailer 100 times, but we want more! Well, good news, Animals/humans: a “Timber” video is on its way!

“Timber,” which is actually a Pitbull track featuring Ke$ha, was released last week and now, K-Dollar-Sign has headed into the woods wearing v. little clothing to shoot the video. Ke$ha gave us a sneak peek of the video, or at least its location and her wardrobe, on Instagram over the weekend, so it shouldn’t be long before it’s in our lives.

The video appears to take the name of the song very literally: not only is Ke$ha in a log cabin somewhere, but also dressed in flannel. How lumberjack chic, K! Of course, this is Ke$ha we’re talking about here, so her look isn’t exactly appropriate for cutting down trees. It’s a, um, modified look. Instead of wearing her flannel shirt on top, she’s opted to tie it around her waist as a skirt. Maybe she forgot pants when packing for her weekend in the woods? I can definitely see how you pack one flannel shirt and one very cropped white t-shirt for a trip and think you’re set. Happens to me all the time! Small shirt? Check. Bigger shirt? Check. Ready 4 the weekend, y’all!

Ke$ha’s “Timber” beauty/accessory game is much lower-key than we’re used to (I mean, she is in the woods, so it #WERKS): no glitter, no colorful hair, no penis jewelry, just a very smoky eye and a long, sleek ponytail. She doesn’t even have any shoes on! Just some gray, very lumberjack-y socks. That’s dedication to character.

No word (yet!) on when the video will drop, but we need it to be soon: how else will we know how to fashion a shirt into a skirt for Halloween?
