For most people sitting at their desks, working/drumming their fingers on their keyboards, watching the clock and waiting for lunch, today is just another day. HOWEVER! If you’re a Miley Cyrus fan, today is Tuesday, October 8th—and that means BANGERZ is officially out, y’all! *raises roof* *throws confetti* *twerks twerks* But wait, there’s more! Today also brings another Miley interview to the interwebz, complete with purdy pictures and a little bit of insight into the inspiration behind her evolving style.

In a new feature from Hunger TV, the singer snuggles up with a powder blue fur for a series of beauty shots that produced the following faces: sexy face, sultry face, silly face, surprised face and tongue face. Always with the tongue face. (And yes, we’ve deemed “tongue face” to be an accurate description of multiple Miley expressions.) Clearly, Cyrus is well-aware that people are “so obsessed” with what she’s doing visually these days (see also: the VMAs, “Wrecking Ball” video, etc.), and her edgy new style is a huge part of her musical transformation.

“I work a lot with Marc Jacobs,” she says of her current incarnation. “He kind of brought me into fashion like when I was 16, that was when I started being around him and just learning from him. He kind of let me inspire some of his pieces and now I feel like its just having the right people around you.” Cyrus also says that in terms of hitting the right balance between sexy and silly (with videos like “Can’t Stop”), she often looked at how Jacobs walks that line in his clothing collections. “There’s definitely something amazing about being so ladylike, yet being so punk, and that’s kind of more of what I am even if I’m wearing things that aren’t. I like having this punk feel about it even if it’s like, Louboutin.”
