Believe it or not, Fashion
Month Week is still going on. Like, there are clothes and shows we still haven't seen. It's madness! Chanel's Spring/Summer 2014 show was this morning and, obvi, celebs flocked out in full force to peep what Karl Lagerfeld has been dreamin' up. Katy Perry and Rita Ora sat front row and wore flowers and feathers, respectively: together they combine for a beautiful, nature-scene still life.
Katy was decked out in a monochromatic, floor-length, floral-printed knit dress. The dress pairs two floral prints: the top features a daisy design (Katy loves her some daisies!) and the bottom is some other designer version of flowers. Bye, normal roses. Sure, you're romantic, but now we've seen #CCertified roses, and we're never looking back. She accessorized with a matching link-chain-and-diamond choker and belt and a clear, double C, LEGO clutch. Katy Perry has a white iPhone, FYI. The bag doesn't fit much else.
Rita, who is quiteeeee familiar with custom Chanel, stuck with Katy's subdued color palette (there's no better way to keep Karl's black-and-white adoring respect, TBH), in a navy blue, patent-leather trimmed dress with a high collar and feathery front (and back). Her hair is tucked completely into her collar which, A) must be very itchy, and B) is an easy way to achieve the faux-bob that have been dominating award show red carpets. Forget bobby pins! Just hide the length of your hair under a collar. Donezo: instant bob. Rita's quilted silver clutch is not see-through like Katy's, so it's impossible to know what color iPhone she has. Secrets, secrets are no fun, Rita! Next show, a clear bag, please! #NOSY
