Oh, hey. How was your weekend? Did you wear Emporio Armani at all? Maybe just to lounge around your house? No? Did you wear Armani to a party? No? Well then, I hate to break it to you, you have nothing in common with the attendees at the Teen Vogue Young Hollywood party, because they all threw on some Armani.
Hailee Steinfeld, Victoria Justice, Kiernan Shipka, and Holland Roden all chose to wear Emporio Armani, one of the party's sponsors, though in totally varied ways. Hailee wore a high-collared, black dress, but managed to fit in a print (see: ASOS Magazine spread/the reason we're broke) via a plaid shirt that she tied around her waist. That's definitely one way to dress down Armani. She also debuted some new bangs, that are perfectly piece-y and add a little bit of edgy teen style to her look. It's def working for her.
Victoria Justice looked polished in a red, double-breasted Armani tuxedo. She skipped a shirt, though unlike Rihanna and Nicki Minaj, she buttoned all the jacket's buttons for a more ~formal~ look. Holland Roden also wore a double-breasted jacket with no shirt, oh, and she also skipped pants. One purple jacket serving many purposes (shirt, pants, dress, jacket, etc.): minimalism at its best. Kiernan Shipka, on the other hand, wore both pants and a shirt—she paired iridescent paisley-print pants with a long-sleeve black shirt. She changed her high, sleek Emmy ponytail for a slightly undone side one, and, as usual, looks age-appropriate, yet totally stylish. Is it weird that my fashion icon is 13? Wait, IDC.
Who do you think wore Armani best? With Victoria and Holland joining the jacket-no-shirt club, is it officially a #trend? Will Fall/Winter 2013 be shirt-free? Should we stock up on button-up jackets? Let us know, please.
