We’re Officially Jealous Of Rihanna’s Custom Alexander Wang Spring/Summer 2014 Pieces

The first celeb to step out in pieces from Alexander Wang’s new collection? Rihanna, duh. Of course, pieces straight from the runway aren’t even #swag enough for Rih; she’s been photographed showing off custom pieces. How’s that for turnaround time? Maybe when you hang out with a designer at #PhashionWeek, he expedites your pieces? It def seems that way.

Last week, four days after the Alexander Wang Spring/Summer 2014 show, Rihanna stepped out in a pink “Parental Advisory” sweatshirt which wasn’t on the Wang runway. On the runway was a white sweatshirt with sheer panels, the “Parental Advisory” logo strategically placed to keep the look PG. Rih paired her Phresh Out The Runway sweatshirt with black leather pants and a white leather baseball cap. She wore white Manolo Blahnik pumps, which is too bad, because Alexander Wang debuted some new shoes at his show that go perfectly with the “Parental Advisory” sweatshirt. Could it be that Rihanna can’t get multiple pieces from this brand new collection?

OF COURSE SHE NOT, SHE’S RIHANNA! CUSTOM PIECES GALORE! This morning on Instagram, badgalriri showed off some new shoes, one of which she paired with a #meshsock. The new shoes, NBD, were custom Mary Janes from the Wang show. The black and red ones that RiRi shows off in her picture did not take a spin around the runway, though. They’re also custom. On the runway, Wang showed the chunky-heeled Mary Janes in light colors, including white and baby blue, and finished them in such a shiny top coat that they looked like rubber. Rihanna’s, on the other hand, seem to be not that shiny patent leather. In return for her special colors and special finish, Rihanna thanked Wang in the best way possible: a shout-out on her fave social media platform: Instagram. In addition to hashtagging #meshsocks and #maryjanes, Rih wrote, “Shout out to the homie @alexanderwangny thank you so much!! You’re epic bro!” She ended her caption with “#2014onyoub******.” Aww, Rih. You brag about your custom swag just like we would. :’)
