We're Obsessed With Lady Gaga's '80s Steez As Of Late

We'll admit we've been going a little cray-cray for Lady Gaga these past couple weeks, but between her fashion-heavy "Applause" music video, INSANE V Magazine covers, and glorious, avant-garde face paint, it's hard to not be obsessed with Mother Monster as of late. (Also, did we mention that she's opening the 2013 VMAs this weekend? #dead) Most recently, though, we spotted Gaga out and about in NYC dressing like an '80s bombshell, and we NEED to discuss.

When Lady Gaga was spotted on the Upper West Side yesterday, she sported a structured mohair Balmain turtleneck sweater tucked into high-waisted pleated white pants that looked like a total MC Hammer homage. She finished the look with a wide gold belt, Tom Ford circle sunnies, and black platform Alaia boots. For her beauty game, she momentarily traded in her layered black locks for a killer side-swept short blonde 'do, which we love. When Gaga stopped by Z100, she went more a chic Balenciaga by Alexander Wang 2014 resort LBD paired with strappy Ruthie Davis sandals and giant gold hoops. For her final (and most '80s!) look, she sported a sharp-shouldered leather Balmain top with a royal purple draped tulip skirt. She accessorized with the same boots, belt, and sunnies from before and called it a day! Between all these ensembles, we're most obsessed with the pleated pants and top look because, um, it's IN. SANE. It's edgy yet cool, and it's a silhouette that we're not used to seeing these days. But tell us—which Lady Gaga outfit do you like best? Let us know in the comments below!
