Go Behind The Scenes Of Sky Ferreira's 'Fader' Cover Shoot

Sky Ferreira graces the cover of The Fader's Fall Fashion Issue and, even better, there's a behind the scenes video of the shoot! The cover was shot by the singer's friend, Sandy Kim, and while Sky looks less than pleased, the BTS vid shows that the shoot was actually full of LOLs (wow, and I thought the camera never lied).

The stylist for the shoot, Ian Bradley, explains that because Sky already has such good style (duh), he wanted to style the shoot to look like she's wearing clothes that are already in her closet. Her closet must be overflowing with Saint Laurent—lucky—because the two pieces he shows, a grey, black-starred cardigan, and black dress with red flowers are both SLP. We also see her parading/modeling around the Lower East Side in a brown and black-diamond printed button-up, black, high-waisted skirt, and black boots.

The cover, though, is a completely different look (not on the streets of the LES, but a roof above them!): she's decked out in a nude slip with a very cozy looking gray sweater. Her platinum hair is pulled back into a low ponytail, a dainty, gold cross hangs from her neck, and her lips are painted a deep red. Though the cover shows otherwise, we, the people with access to the inside 411/YouTube, know that Sky is capable of smiling, it's just more #stylish not to.
