Talk about "phresh out the runway." When it comes to fashion, Rihanna definitely practices what she preaches. To the left, Rih is posing alongside bestie, Melissa Forde, in an over-sized t-shirt and skinny pants set in matching digital prints. Without any context, this outfit—worn with transluscent blue shades, white minimally strapped heels, chunky gold jewelry and her blonde mane parted on the left side (all the better to show off that Skrillex patch still holding strong)—is well-crafted, keen styling at work. What you might not know is that Miss Fenty is wearing brand spankin' new Givenchy menswear. And not new as in, it just hit stores; new as in, it just hit runways a little over two weeks ago. *massages out whiplash from Rihanna's break-neck fashion quickness*
That's right, ladies and germs. As if you didn't already know, this ensemble confirms that Rihanna can wear (and slay) literally anything. One minute, she's dropping jaws in the sexiest cardigan Karl Lagerfeld may have ever seen. The next, she's showing up tourmate/fellow fashion killa A$AP Rocky and let's be real, every single other dude who had his eye on this Tisci-described "Nerd Africa" collection, by being up on it FIRST.
Honestly, we've also TOTALLY been ogling this recording tech-laden collection since its first moments on the catwalk, so it's no surprise that one of our favorite fash-forward females is repping it. Plus, this isn't the first time Rih has borrowed from the boys (remember that Raf Simons + ACNE number from her 777 tour?), and we certainly don't expect it to be her last. Ladies in menswear is a bonafide trend of late, from Ciara's double Givenchy to Rita Ora's flamingo-flaunting Katie Eary, and we can't wait to see where it goes next!
