Happy Friday, you guys! And it's an even happier Friday than usual, because 1.) It's a holiday weekend, whoop! 2.) Today marks the inaugural post of our "Food Friday" series. Yep, you read that right..and it's going to be awesome. Each and every week we'll pick some our of favorite grocery store staples that translate into key wardrobe pieces. We're talking about all the stuff that you've been eating at your summer BBQs all the way to, you know, sliiiightly healthier items. We're kicking things off with all watermelon print everything, and trust us when we say there's TONS of super cute options to choose from. The best part is, none of that of that annoying seed-spitting action necessary. Check out our favorites below!

When it comes to summertime duds, it really doesn't get any better than Nasty Gal and Lazy Oaf's '90s inspired capsule collection. The line is chock-full of watermelon print pieces, like this adorable swinging tank top ($48), the button up shorts ($70) or the canvas backpack ($60). And hey, if you can't choose a favorite fruit, we totally don't blame you. There's also the skater skirt ($70), which comes splashed with oranges, apples, AND melons (oh my!).

On the accessories front, those with cash handy can splurge on this dreamy Charlotte Olympia watermelon clutch ($1,295). It's crafted from Perspex so you know it's durable, and peppered with Swarovski crystals so you KNOW it's swanky. This is some luxe fruit we're talking about here, people, but nobody's saying you have to break the bank. Just peep the watermelon wallet from Falconwright, which is stamped with tiny melons and only costs $48.

To top off ALL this fruity goodness, we suggest these peekaboo watermelon heels ($129), a watermelon pendant ($15.49) and tons of sunshine. The recipe for a perfect summer outfit doesn't get any sweeter than this.
