Anyone else getting SUPER antsy for Fourth of July? Between the stockpile of American flag swag you've amassed in preparation and the patriotic paint jobs you've been testing on your tips (not to mention the fact that you've had your star-spangled playlist stuck on repeat all week), YOU. ARE. READY. Unfortunately, we all have to wait another day, but we might have something to help tide you over (and keep you and your jean cut-offs from losing your starred and striped minds): a preview of Selena Gomez and Mariah Carey's performance outfits for Macy's "Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular" on NBC.

Selly hit the stage in a red basket weave bralette top paired with a white high-waisted skirt with a combination skater and high-low silhouette (floaty trains are excellent for performance drama) and sparkly beadwork at the waist. She finished off the look with cagey white gladiator heels, silver hoops, and a gem-laden handheld microphone for a little extra shine. Mariah employed a similar tactic with her sound equipment, except Mimi went the extra mile decking not only her mic but its stand in the shimmery stuff. In classic Mariah fashion, Carey came prepared with multiple outfit changes, the most patriotic of the bunch being the above two. One look: a bright red halter neck gown with cut-outs along her ribs, minimal rhinestones dispersed over the bodice, and two extra panels for on-stage windblown moments. The other: a campy farmer-chic ensemble comprised of a red gingham crop top with a smocked waist, dark denim pedal pushers, and pin-up ready red gingham strapped heels. Also, it's definitely worth noting that Mariah perfoms in this look while swanned out on bales of hay. Naturally.
