Thanks to a little movie called The Bling Ring (maybe you've heard of it?), it's been one VERY busy summer for Emma Watson. Besides, ya know, acting in the Sofia Coppola film itself, the British star has also embarked on a worldwide press tour, picked up a golden popcorn for her "Trailblazing" career, AND put our airport style games to shame... all before you can say, "Wanna rob?" Within the past couple of months the 23-year-old has also racked up more magazine covers than we can keep track of—and now she's adding yet another! Emma fronts the August issue of Teen Vogue, the fourth time she's landed the honor. Looking completely fresh-faced (with freckles!), Emma's repping a different side than we're used to seeing on covers. Out of character and dressed in clothes she'd probably wear IRL, her look is totally back-to-school-cool with an edgy twist.

Who knew? Dreamy pieces like a blue leather jacket from Toga Pulla, a 3.1 Phillip Lim tank, and printed Isabel Marant pants go PERFECTLY with a retro-inspired half-up hairstyle. It's a beauty trick that adds a definite rebellious undertone to the shoot and proves that Emma is so not just a pretty face (although she's definitely that, too). Inside the issue, she also dishes on her fashion go-tos, saying, "I shop at Aritzia, and Topshop, and I also love A.P.C. and 3.1 Phillip Lim. Chanel is amazing, and I wore a really beautiful black Dior dress recently that I thought was really cool. And I love Christopher Kane, Peter Pilotto...I'm always keeping an eye out for people who are new or up-and-coming." Judging from her history with up-and-comer Brood, we'd say she's doing a pretty good job, don't you think?

Summer might finally be in full swing, but leave it to Emma to convince everyone that we need a black and white checkered overcoat to add to our closets ASAP. Extra points if it's Saint Laurent and comes with a matching Saint Laurent dress underneath like hers! All this in the leadup of back-to-school planning? A+, indeed.
