Between her irresistible get-up-and-dance sound, her constantly evolving style, AND the fact that she's one of the only people we know who can pull off a "YOLO" jacket, Rita Ora already has more than enough bragging rights to make us jealous. But thanks to Phillip Lim, the U.K. pop star has landed yet another. The New York designer has just rolled out a new style of boot called "The ORA," named after none other than Rita herself! Alongside Lana Del Rey, Alexa Chung, and more recently, Carly Rae Jepsen, the "Radioactive" singer has officially joined the coveted ranks of design muse. Not a bad place to be, huh?
Rita stepped out in the namesake black leather, over-the-knee boot sandals (hybrid alert!) this weekend at the Parklife Festival in Manchester, which she paired with a graphic Stella McCartney top and matching shorts. Coincidentally, this news comes HOT on the heels of swirling internet rumors about Rita and BFF Cara Delevingne's possible clothing line. Hm...perfect timing? The star posted a photo of the boots yesterday on Instagram, saying "The ORA Boot. Wow Philip Lim I can't believe it!!! After me! I'm speechless THANK YOU! I'm honoured. These boots are gonna go everywhere! Wat a great name for a boot! Hehehe #wurkwurkwurk #muse #honoured #basic #thesebootsaremade4walkin #walkalloveryou Love you philip!" Unfortunately, if you want to copy Rita and nab the ORA's for yourself, it's going to cost you. They're currently on sale at Moda Operandi at a cool $950. But even if you're not willing to shell out quite yet, don't give up. After all, there's always her Superga collection...
