Save for all those costume changes as host and musical guest of Saturday Night Live, it’s been a while since we last saw Justin Timberlake in anything BUT a suit and tie. Well, teamed up with the official release of his The 20/20 Experience album, JT has revealed a new music video for his “Mirrors” track, and (ZUT ALORS!) it appears that change is nigh. For his second 20/20 single, Timberlake shirks his crisp tailoring in favor of some knitwear—a black turtleneck, to be more specific.

The first two-thirds of the video follow a couple, oscillating between their present-day old age and their youth in what looks like the ’50s—rockabilly hair rolls, winged eyeliner, high-waisted pants, etc.—and as the opening “For William and Sadie” slate suggests, the video is dedicated to Timberlake’s grandparents. Justin doesn’t actually make a single appearance in the video until just before the 6-minute mark, right when the song enters its second movement.

JT erupts on the screen through a jungle of funhouse mirrors wearing a simple, chic all-black ensemble: black turtleneck, black longline peacoat, black trousers, and black Christian Louboutin Gareth men’s dress flats wherein the wingtip is also a handsome steel toe, flashing the shoes’ red bottoms as he pops, locks, and glides through a solo dance number.
