OK, y'all—remember when we spotted Kristin Cavallari wearing Paper Crown by Lauren Conrad in Splash magazine last week? We didn't even know where to BEGIN on this situation. Had the former Laguna Beach foes officially made up? Or was K Cav just showing serious support for her Laguna co-star? Are they total besties now? Did she even know she was wearing a piece by LC? Well, our prayers were answered, and the stylist from the shoot, Eric Himel, reached out to give us all the details on what went down that day. Peep it after the jump below!

As it turns out, the black, strapless tulle frock was pulled based entirely on how it looked, and not who made it—in fact, Eric didn't even realize the correlation when he chose the dress! He said, "I didn't put two and two together, and I thought it would be so cute and flirty and playful. When I put it on her, she really liked it actually." Kristin accessorized the dress with jewelry from her Glamboutique collection and pumps from her Chinese Laundry line. "It’s kind of funny how it happened. She didn’t look at the label, she just looked at the garment," Eric said. "She loved the dress. It wasn’t her typical style, but she definitely thought it was super cute and she loved it." And there we have it, friends! Kristin didn't even realize she was wearing a piece LC created, but she did genuinely love the design. Guess we'll never know if these two officially made up, but we're happy to see both ladies have a heavy hand in the fashion world!
