Our Favorite ’90s Nickelodeon Cartoons Transformed Into Nail Art!

If you’re a child of the ’90s, cartoons and Nickelodeon went hand-in-hand like Lisa Frank and Trapper Keepers. Not to get all dramatic, but, like, those shows kiiind of shaped who we are today. We couldn’t WAIT to plop down in front of the TV to hang out with some of our funny friends (hi, Skeeter from Doug and Chuckie Finster from Rugrats!) and have a GRAND ol’ time. Since most our favorite shows are no longer on air (*sniff sniff*), we thought we’d bring ’em back to life the best way we know how–through nail art! We rounded up our fave Nick-inspired manicures, so check ’em out below.

We love this GORGE homage to Angelica, Chuckie and Tommy from Rugrats! Each character was meticulously hand-painted on each finger in the exact same illustration style from the show. Honestly, with all those layers of colors and attention to detail this probably took FOREVS to do, but we think it was totally worth it. *claps*

Move it, football head! We’re obsessed with this avant-garde take on the Hey Arnold! crew, which shows portions of the oh-so-famous characters’ faces. We peep a sliver of Eugene’s red hair on the pinky, a close-up of Harold’s mug on the ring finger, Helga’s bangs on the middle, Gerald’s eye on the pointer finger, and Arnold’s oddly-shaped head on the thumb. Perf!

Whew, sometimes the attention to detail in these manis are too much for even US to handle. Check out this Aaahh!!! Real Monsters mini masterpiece that features Ickis, Oblina, and Krumm. We give the nail artist extra points for including the “Nick” splash logo on the thumb and managing to fit the word “Aaahh” on the pinky. *bows down*

Life ain’t easy when you’re a cojoined twin–especially when you’re part cat and part dog. We think this mani perfectly encapsulates the CatDog series by showing Cat on one nail and Dog on the other with their connected body in-between. Extra props for matching the exact color scheme and show logo.

The only thing better than watching Rocko’s Modern Life is having the entire cast on your nails! We love this super-duper close-up version of our favorite character’s faces, including the iconic pattern from Rocko’s shirt on the thumb. #WERK

If you straight-up can’t decide which ’90s show you like best (and we totally don’t blame you!), you can mix-and-match all your favorites in one mani like she did here. Shout-out to Wanda from the Fairly Odd Parents and Doug Funnie from Doug!
