Beyonce asked (and answered) the question "Who Run The World (Girls)," and now she's doing her part to make sure that's actually the case. The singer has teamed up with Gucci on the Chime For Change initiative, a global empowerment program dedicated to supporting girls and women through fundraising and awareness. By allowing women from all over the world to share their stories, Chime For Change hopes to show how powerful women can be and to inspire future generations. If you want to get involved, head over to MTV Act for the full scoop! While Bey has always been a champion for "Independent Women," we're sure that having a daughter herself has added to the singer's dedication to the causes that Chime for Change is most focused on, those being health, justice, and education for women. In a statement to Vogue UK, Beyonce said, "I have always felt strongly about equal opportunity for women. Girls have to be taught from early on that they are strong and capable of being anything they want to be." Bey went on to add that, "It's up to us to change the statistics for women around the world. I'm honoured to be in the company of women who live fearlessly and set an example for the next generation of young ladies."

More information about the campaign will be released in the coming weeks, but in the meantime, get involved!
