Fresh off the digital presses, adidas NEO has released an interactive lookbook for its Spring/Summer 2013 collection. The best part? The completely shoppable online lookbook stars (you guessed it!) the label’s most visible brand ambassador of the moment: Selena Gomez! Little confused about what the kinda nebulous term “interactive lookbook” means? We’re about to break them down for you.
Rather than static pages or images as is per typical fashion lookbooks, Sel and a crew of fresh-faced models sport the line’s newest togs in a series of short video clips. They slurp milkshakes on top of building awnings, do backflips against brick walls, sprint through high school hallways, or in Selena’s case, twirl around with a giant bubble wand.
The interactive element comes when you click on an outfit. One click brings up a grid of all the featured clothing from that short. If you see something you like, you click on it and immediately, it surfaces a larger image, a description of the product, and links for you to purchase or like it on Facebook. #instantgratification See it all play out for yourself here!
