It's a good thing you can never have too much Rihanna in your life, because let's be real: the girl has been EVERYWHERE these days. Between dropping her bare-all music video for "Stay," slaying the style game at the Grammys, and oh, debuting a little side gig called the River Island collection this weekend, she's doing enough to make anyone feel like an underachiever. In conjunction with all these projects, the pop star graces the April cover of ELLE UK, which we've got a sneak preview of right here! The magazine has *thankfully* leaked the image about a month early, showing Rihanna peering seductively over her shoulder dressed in a minimalist black and white ensemble.

Photographer Mariano Vivanco captured Riri at a studio in Paris for the shoot, where she's traded those wavy extensions that she rocked at the Grammys for her pixie cut (which we love, BTW). While the coif might be different, one thing her look DOES have with her Grammys steez is the bold red lip. Whereas before the dramatic hue lent an Old Hollywood quality to her features, on the ELLE UK cover it looks modern, edgy and totally fresh. And as for the clothes, Ri's sporting a white halter top with a low back cut and a body-hugging black leather mini. She's gone with practically NO accessories (rare for Rihanna), unless you count her diamond stud earrings and statement chest ink. This outfit is one of many monochrome ensembles she'll be modeling in the spread, flaunting the SS13 trend seen on the runways at Marc Jacobs, Prada, and Paul Smith. The star's River Island collection may have seen some pattern play with florals and tie dye, but her sleek and solid cover look makes it even EASIER to obsess over the person behind the outfits. Which, in Rihanna's case, is exactly the point.
