We’re Obsessed With The Blonds’ Frighteningly Good Fall 2013 Horror Nail Art

Earlier this week we dissected The Blonds killer (heh) classic Hollywood horror film-inspired fall 2013 pieces at NYFW (think: fake blood splatters in the form of sequins and dresses doubling as rope-tied victims), but when we looked closer at these frighteningly good ensembles, we noticed the models’ nail art game was ridiculously on point—we’re talking incredibly iconic slasher flick moments etched onto mini fingernail canvases. Above, you’ll see a white on black “Bates Motel” mani from the movie Psycho and the word “REDRUM” (murder backwards!) painted on her nails just like in The Shining. We’re gettin’ the creeps just looking at it.

On another set of tips, we see the oh-so-iconic black and white shower scene from Alfred Hitchcock’s 1960 film Psycho, and another set is Jack Nicholson’s face from The Shining straight-up taking OVER her entire mani.

In a less literal translation of horror nails, one model sports a set with white grenades on them, while another has extremely long metallic talons that are straight-up freaky. Don’t mess!

Ooooh! We love this red rhinestone design that looks like drippy, bloody nails. The icing on the cake is the one dangling accent nail that took the drip theme to the extreme. On another super long, triangle tipped set, we see the famous Alfred Hitchcock silhouette painted on a matte black base.

Finally, we peep an all-out glam goth mani that perfectly combines the glitz and glamor of The Blonds with the dark horror theme of the collection. She wears chrome-colored nails with rhinestones sprinkled on top. The kicker? The GIANT CROSS attached to her middle finger as an accent nail. #WERK
