Just moments ago, NBC aired the series finale episode of 30 Rock. The wound is still fresh, and we're still VERY much in full mourning of the Tina Fey television masterpiece. With tears in our eyes, we're kissing and turning over framed desktop pictures of Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin) and erasing Dr. Spaceman's (Chris Parnell) number from our phones. Along with the belly laughs, the unforgettable characters, and single-handedly giving us the green light to emphatically call our friends, family, and co-workers "nerds," 30 Rock has supplied us with a wealth of memorable fashion moments, from Liz Lemon's Brooklyn Without Limits jeans to her Princess Leia wedding dress. How could we ever forget Tracy Jordan's (Tracy Morgan) EGOT necklace? Or *sniffle* Kenneth Parcell's (Jack McBrayer) page uniform? Or that time Jenna Maroney (Jane Krakowski) was pitted against Miss Piggy for a "Who Wore It Better"? If we had to pick the ONE fashion element of the show we'll miss most, though, it would definitely, absolutely, HANDS DOWN be Frank Rossitano/Judah Friedlander's signature trucker hats.
The trucker hat + oversized glasses + unkempt hair look is actually a Judah trademark that he carried over to his 30 Rock character, but while Friedlander, with a few exceptions, keeps his dome messaging to some iteration of his "The World Champion" comedic schtick, Frank's hats throughout the show's seven-season run have been much more variant. The message across Frank's signature headgear has changed over 200 times, sometimes more than once in an episode. In honor of the end of the 30 Rock era, we've rounded up all (I repeat, ALL) of Frank's trademark trucker hats from the October 2006 pilot episode's "Ninja Expert" to the very last hat from tonight's series finale — which fittingly read, "Period" — into a GIGANTIC slideshow for your viewing pleasure (and a handy list of them all, too). SUCK IT, NERDS. But really, you're welcome.
