Talk about a clash of the TITANS! We really, really hate to do this since A$AP Rocky and Adam Lambert are two of our hands-down favorite dudes in the fashion game, but when two beloved celebs wear the same article of clothing, let alone one from a label as (relatively) unknown as Kokon to Zai (the same dudes behind Kanye West's metalhead sweatpants!), we have to ask: who wore it better?
Rocky posted this Instagram of himself on "a random street in London" wearing Kokon to Zai's church embroidery hoodie from the label's AW 2012 collection. A statement-making piece of outerwear is not easily forgotten, so we IMMEDIATELY remembered that Glambert wore the very same tunic sweatshirt for his VH1 Divas Live "Ray of Light" performance.

There are a few hang-ups to pitting these two against each other, in general and specifically in this outfit. The specific point is that, an article of clothing this big — the hoodie extends from the top of the head to well below the knee — totally dominates the outfit, leaving little to no room for customization. Still these dudes manage to do just that, using accessories economically to translate the look in different directions.
Rocky wears his hoodie with a white, front-turned snapback, a large, gold, square ring, scrunched up skinny denim, and crisp white kicks. Lambert, on the other hand styles closer to the original runway look, opting for the matching graphic print gloves and black leather boots. Adam's boots, however, have white, contrast lacing; a fat, white platform; and spikes all along the back upper and heel.
The general point that keeps us from picking any sides is that A$AP Rocky and Adam Lambert, while both fashionable and fashion-forward, have SUCH different styles that this battle boils down to a matter of preference. And frankly, we love these dudes too much to choose. What do YOU think? Who do you think wore this Kokon to Zai hoodie better?
