Justin Bieber may be miles away from his “Baby” days, but don’t let the many tattoos he’s racking up fool you, he’s still just a teenager. He only turned 18 last year, but he’s inked himself up several times in the past 365 days with an owl, a crown, his “Believe” album title, and now, his latest: the Stratford Cullitons logo on his left shoulder blade. We know Bieber is a big ice hockey fan and the Cullitons rep his hometown of Stratford, but to get any team’s insignia (regardless of geographic affiliations) permanently etched on your person is a major commitment. What’s the deal?

Biebs explains via Instagram caption, “My grandfather always took me to the stratford culliton every friday night this is for u Grampa,” more than just a hometown call-out, the tattoo is a tribute to his grandfather. *cue the resounding “AWWwww”* Justin also reveals the artist behind his new ink, “My man @chenterios hooked it up.” Chente Rios is the owner of Hollywood’s Under The Gun Tattoo Company, the very same Cali spot that bestowed unto Bieber’s on-again-off-again girlfriend Selena Gomez her very first tattoo.
