Whether they're transforming an underground style icon like Alice Glass into a bride, morphing an ingenue like Elizabeth Olsen into elfin queens (with pink hair, no less) or just serving up our quarterly dose of eye candy, we can always count of the creative minds behind BULLETT to do so in ridiculously original ways. But they've truly outdone themselves in the magazine's new Surrealist issue, turning Elle Fanning into a work of art— literally. The 14-year-old Ginger and Rosa actress looks every bit the part of a bonafide movie star on the cover, working a bejeweled Miu Miu midnight blue satin dress, fresh-faced makeup, and dreamy expression against the blue-gray background. And while the image is compelling enough to make us stop and take notice, the final touches- colorful rainbow streaks swooped right across Elle's wispy blonde hair- make it pretty much impossible to turn away.

In the spread, which is aptly titled "Away She Goes," the actress ups the feature's free-spirited ante even more, posing in seriously jaw-dropping dresses by Christopher Kane, Valentino and Giles. But the amazing clothes are only PART of the equation. The colorful sketches, blurs, and scribbles on top give Elle an Alice In Wonderland-goes-to-art-school kind of a vibe, which you really need to see up close to get the full effect. So if you want instant gratification, head over to BULLETTMedia.com to see the entire feature for yourself. And don't forget to pick up the Surrealist issue of BULLETT when it hits stands on December 18, because we've got a feeling you'll want to plaster the pages all over your walls. It IS art, after all...
