Remember way back when we told you about Jason Schwartzman's collection of thick-rimmed plastic glasses for online retailer Lookmatic? Now it's Aubrey Plaza's turn to try her hand at design! The Parks and Recreation star is the latest of the brand's creative "visionaries" series and we COULDN'T be more thrilled. The actress, Miu Miu muse, and Bust's most recent cover girl has just rolled out a trio of frames inspired by none other than her grandmother, Maxine. With tortoise, gray, and pale blue colorways, the sleek acetate style has a bareeely there cat-eye curve and hopscotches the line between nerdy and cool.
Following in Jason Schwartzman's "Uncleanord" footsteps, which he named after his uncle,Aubrey describes how her family-inspired specs came about: “I remember she wore these thick sexy librarian glasses that always struck me." And now we can ALL get the "sexy librarian" look ourselves, since the glasses just debuted on Lookmatic today. Check them out for yourself for an excuse to ditch the contacts and make four eyes cool again.
