Yo, black and white stripes are where it’s AT. If you haven’t noticed, the monochrome look has been taking over the runways as of late (see: Marc Jacobs and Alice + Olivia), and it’s the perfect way to add a touch of fun to any fall ensemble. Seriously, what doesn’t match black and white? Nothing. *dusts shoulders off* We found bloggers who wore monochrome stripes in THE cutest of ways, and we can’t wait to share their looks with you! Peep the deets below.
Bebe Zeva of Fated to be Hated
Blog: ftbh.blogspot.com. Twitter: @BebeZeva.
You probably already know Bebe for, well, parading her cute self all over the internet, but can we just that we LOVE her style? ’Cause we do. For her all black and white get-up, she wore a sharp-shouldered Yes Style fitted blazer, cuffed black harem pants, Pink & Pepper tassel loafers, and a white top. She accessorized to the MAX with a black Romwe bowler hat, layered gold chain necklaces, large round sunnies, stacked bracelets, a gold and black belt and matching crossbody bag. She finished the look with a bright red lip and cascading side waves for days.
Aileen E. of Wanderlust
Aileen is an effortlessly-cool Montreal-based blogger that we’re a wee bit obsessed with. One scroll through her Lookbook, and you’ll fall in love (we promise). She didn’t stick to all black and white for her ensemble—she paired her striped pants with a DIY upside-down studded cross sweater, white button-up top, and denim jacket. She threw on a floral bag for a touch of color and whipped her hair up into some jealously-inducing milkmaid braids. I can haz burgundy red hair, plz?
Flávia Desgranges van der Linden of Fashion Coolture
Brazil-based blogger Flávia looked FLAWLESS in her girly monochrome ensemble. She sported a striped tank WITH a pleated Romwe striped skirt, which totally blew our minds. I mean, who knew stripes on stripes could look this good? Not us! She added tons of feminine accessories including a crimson red bow belt, a Mariana Amaral layered necklace and killer peep-toe platforms with bows on top. She, too, wore a red-stained pout and pulled her blond locks half-up into a messy ’do. LOVE. Tell us—which black and white blogger look do you like best?
