Oh, hai October. Didn’t see you there! Now that we’re officially into the fall season, it means YAY, PUMPKINS! PRETTY LEAVES! COAT WEATHER! FALL-THEMED MANICURES! *pants* There’s no better way to celebrate a season change than with some killer nail art, amirite? We rounded up our top autumn-inspired designs that’ll hopefully inspire you to create some mini masterpieces of your own, so check ’em out below!

We never get tired of seeing Aztec prints, but the typically-bright pattern usually seems better suited for summer. Not anymore! Switch up your neons for some rich shades of burgundy, navy, and gray like Judith from Spektor’s Nails, and you’ve got yourself one badass fall mani, y’all.
PUT A BIRD ON IT

Whenever fall rolls around, we imagine owls hangin’ out under a full harvest moon (maybe this is some lame image we conjured up from storybooks BUT IN OUR MINDS IT’S TRUE), so we had to put a set of wide-eyed guys on our tips! We loved Elena’s autumn-y ode to owls because she totally nailed it down to every last detail. This mani may take hours to complete, but when it ends up looking THIS good, who gives a hoot? (Sorry, we had to.)
LEAVE YOUR MARK

The most iconic part about autumn is, duh, the leaves! From bright orange to crisp red to buttery yellow, all of the trees turn beautiful colors on the warmer side of the spectrum. We like this take on a leaf mani because Elaine added a touch of gold around the edges to really give it that extra oomph. Also, we love shiny things.

For a more straightforward mani, we’re obsessed with Ellie’s color-blocked design. She varied the rich jewel tones on each finger and added a single gold stud at the base for a touch of glam. A thick, glossy top coat finished off the look, and we’re completely smitten!
A TOUCH OF PUMPKIN

This is the ONE time of year pumpkins get their moment to shine, so we thought it was only appropriate to do an ode to the big ol’ orange guys. We thought Kelsey’s take was particularly awesome because she only painted pumpkins at the tips for an avant-garde feel that we love.
