Who says blazers have to be boring?! Although the tailored topper might conjure up images of preppy college students, businessmen, and school uniforms, there’s so much more to blazers than this. After all, if original dressers like Nicki Minaj and Solange can rock the jackets regularly, let’s just say WE definitely can, too. Whether it’s patterned, striped, or sequined, one of the reasons we’re so into the blazer because it’s the ultimate seasonal transition piece. As these bloggers prove, it looks just as good with jeans and flats as it does dressed up with heels. So if you’re still not convinced your closet needs a blazer this fall, then check out the stylish girls below… and get back to us!

Olivia of Lust for Life
Los Angeles blogger Olivia L. first caught our eye for her impeccable style, and held our attention for a good five minutes while we dissected each and every aspect of her outfit. The 19-year-old sticks to a relatively neutral color palette, with a cream scalloped blouse, tie shorts, and brown leather Jimmy Choo platforms. However, she keeps things from being too safe with her totally awesome Insight printed blazer. The abstract floral motif gets the ensemble an interesting twist- but it’s not so distracting that she can’t rock hot pink lipstick, too.

Iris of FashionZen
Blog: Twitter: @FashionZenIris.
Iris’s gold sequined Zara blazer MIGHT not be for the shy at heart, but nobody can fight the fact that it’s undeniably amazing. Plus, this is a statement piece that definitely won’t hurt your wallet- H&M and French Connection have their own versions for under $100. Who knows, this might just be our new lazy day secret weapon this season? We can’t REALLY think of a better-looking excuse to throw on simple black pants, this blazer, and head out the door.

Anouska of Anouska Proetta Brandon
Anouska has combined three of our favorite things- jeans, flats, and a vintage hat- and totally upgraded her basic outfit to something way more lustworthy with her printed blazer. We’re digging the mishmash of the blazer with vintage-inspired pieces, like her boyfriend jeans, brown bag, and black hat. Oh, and get this- the entire outfit is from River Island-yes, we’re talking about the SAME River Island as Rihanna’s design collab! Um…amazing.
